New Year, New Me -- Beauty Resolutions You Can Stick To

  1. Treat Your Whole Body
  2. Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize
  3. Never Sleep With Makeup On
  4. Clean Your Brushes
  5. More Water

As this year comes to an end and a new one is fast approaching, we cannot help but reflect on the lessons that we have learned. Beauty lessons to be more specific. Throughout the year, we have experimented with different products and beauty regimens in our quest to make our skin smoother, softer and glowing. Call us vain but healthy skin is also a good indicator of someone’s health. With this coming year, let’s continue with that trend to keep our skin healthy and beautiful.

Treat Your Whole Body

Chances are when you are doing your skincare regimen, you are only focusing on the face. If you haven’t noticed, our skin covers almost all of our body. Try treating your chest and neck area with the same care as your face. Elbows, knees, hands and feet also need attention as they can get dry, ashy and crusty.

Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize

We all know this yet we still skip one or two steps. This is supposed to be the golden rule and should be strictly followed. This usually happens when we are too tired and just want to go directly to bed. Everything nice needs a bit of work and sacrifice. Will yourself to strictly adhere to this very basic beauty regimen and you will see a big difference.

Never Sleep With Makeup On

Again one of those important beauty tips that we sometimes cannot adhere to. Clogged pores can lead to breakouts and breakouts can lead to infection. Being lazy is not worth it. It’s all about how bad you want that beautiful skin. If you want it real bad then you have to work for it.

Clean Your Brushes

This is easily overlooked but is also very easy to do. Make it a habit to clean your brushes at least once a week. The oil, bacteria and dirt trapped in the bristles can cause breakouts and we know how nasty those can be.

More Water

The cheapest way of keeping your skin hydrated. Drink more water! Not only will it keep your skin moist and plump, but it will also flush out the toxins in your body giving you a healthy glowing skin.
